Saint Patrick Day
Good Morning, children! Today is March 17th (Patricia's Saint Day). Saint Patrick is very much related to shamrocks and clovers. Do you remember that a clover is a type of grass?
Here you are some videos explaining the origin of the festival.
I hope you will enjoy them.

Francisco José de Goya
Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes was born on March 30, 1746.
He was born in Fuendetodos, Spain.
He was a painter and also a printmaker.
(La Gallinita Ciega)
(Los Zancos)
His style of art is Rococo and Romanticism. He is one of the great masters of Spanish painting.
(La Cometa)
He started painting when he was only 14 years old.
He created the technique of shading to create shape and volume in his pieces.
He created many paintings for the Palace of El Pardo and The Royal Monastery of El Escorial.
After he became deaf, his paintings turned darker and more critical to the society. He created more scary, obscure paintings with witches, mad and insane people.
He died in France in 1828.
