History - learning about the past
As you know, this weekend I was in London. Some people there talked to me about the Great Fire of London. It happened many years ago. Did you know that? No, you didn't. I'm sure. How did I know about it? Because someone said that to me. Later I used a book to study it. I looked for more information on the Internet and I saw this youtube video.
And then I played this game. Try it!

The water cycle song
Hi there. Luckily enough, Hanora was writing down the song for us, so you can have the lyrics handy to learn it.
THE WATER CYCLE SONG
Somewhere out there, the sun is shining on a little puddle
that is just part of something we call: THE WATER CYCLE.
Water from a little puddle turns to gas: EVAPORATION.
The gas forms into puppy clouds: CONDENSATION.
The clouds get heavy and the rain pours down: PRECIPITATION.
And more puddles on the ground.
OH, THE WATER CYCLE, ROUND AND ROUND.
VAPOUR GOES UP AND THE RAIN COMES DOWN.
WATER IN THE SKY, IN THE OCEAN, IN THE GROUND.
IT’S ALL IN A CYCLE GOING ROUND AND ROUND.
Some clouds look like a horse’s tail. That’s CIRRUS, CIRRUS.
Some clouds look like a cauliflower. That’s CUMULUS, CUMULUS.
Some clouds look like a blanket of gray. That’s STRATUS, STRATUS.
There are high clouds, low clouds and, in between, clouds.
Fog on the ground is also rare.
We’ve seen clouds, ya ya ya...
OH, THE WATER CYCLE, ROUND AND ROUND.
VAPOUR GOES UP AND THE RAIN COMES DOWN.
WATER IN A RIVER, IN A GLASS, IN A CLOUD.
IT’S ALL IN A CYCLE GOING ROUND AND ROUND.
When warm air meets cold air trouble brews.
Taht could mean a storm and that’s bad news.
A hurricane can form when that happens near warm water.
Look out if that storm reaches land.
Get out of the way. Grab your sons and daughters.
Crash, bash, boom and kabam. Oh no!
We forgot uncle Dan. “I’m okay. I’m alright. Iwas just hiding in a garbage can”.
He was hiding in a garbage can.
OH, THE WATER CYCLE, ROUND AND ROUND.
VAPOUR GOES UP AND THE RAIN COMES DOWN.
WATER IN A PERSON, IN A WELL DEEP DOWN.
IT’S ALL IN A CYCLE GOING ROUND AND ROUND.

Castles
In the past, in Middle Ages there were wonderful and big castles where people lived and protected from enemies. Would you like to visit one?
